Social Media Intern
Help tell our story to the ABA clinical community - draft and schedule posts, turn our guides and product updates into social-ready content, and report on what lands.
Cadence ABA makes voice-first data collection software for ABA clinicians - letting BCBAs and RBTs run sessions out loud while the software scores trials, tracks progress toward goals, and drafts session notes for review and signature. We're looking for a Social Media Intern to help us build our presence and tell our story to the ABA clinical community.
What you'll do
- Draft and schedule posts across social platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter) to support brand awareness and engagement
- Help plan a content calendar aligned with product updates, company news, and themes relevant to ABA clinicians and families
- Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, and flag or respond under guidance
- Repurpose existing content (blog posts, product updates, guides) into social-friendly formats
- Track basic engagement metrics and summarize what's working in regular reports
- Research trends in the ABA and healthcare-tech space to suggest timely content ideas
What we're looking for
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
- Strong written communication skills and comfort writing in a brand's voice
- Familiarity with major social platforms and basic content creation tools
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage a content calendar and deadlines
- Interest in healthcare, clinical software, or the ABA/behavioral health field is a plus
- Comfortable taking feedback and iterating quickly on drafts
Nice to have
- Experience with basic graphic design or video editing tools (e.g. Canva, CapCut)
- Prior internship or coursework in social media management or digital marketing
- Familiarity with analytics tools for tracking social performance
