Pay for the clients you serve
and the clinicians who work.
A flat platform fee plus a charge per active client and per clinical seat. No usage you didn’t use, no seats you didn’t fill. Voice capture and signable notes are on every tier.
Capture
The core loop. Capture by voice, sign your notes, watch the graphs draw themselves.
Clinical
Where BCBAs feel the magic. The reasoning agents read the data, propose phase changes, and draft the reports.
Practice
For multi-site organizations. Compliance, org-wide supervision, and the controls IT and billing ask for.
An active client is any client with at least one session that month. Annual plans are billed up front with two months free.
Three parts. Nothing you didn’t use.
Your bill is the platform fee for your tier, plus a charge for each client you actually served this month, plus a charge for each clinician with a seat. Caseload drops, the bill drops with it.
Every tier is a superset of the one below.

On every tier, the agents only ever draft and propose. A licensed clinician reviews and signs - nothing reaches a claim without a human behind it.
Good to know.

Talk to clinical →How much does Cadence ABA cost?
Pricing is public and self-serve. Capture is $15 per active client plus $12 per clinical seat per month, with no platform fee. Clinical adds a $99/month platform fee at $25 per active client and $18 per seat. Practice is $299/month plus $39 per active client and $25 per seat. Annual plans include 2 months free.
What counts as an active client?
An active client is a client with at least one session in the calendar month. A client on your caseload who had no session that month is not billed, so a slow month or a mid-treatment pause costs less rather than the same. Seats are counted separately, per clinician whose role consumes a seat.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 14 days on the self-serve plans (Capture and Clinical), with no sales call and no card required to start. Practice is a sales-led pilot rather than a self-serve trial, because it involves org-scale setup like SSO, custom roles, and multi-location structure.
What is the difference between the Cadence plans?
Capture is capture and documentation: voice and tap capture, standard graphs, and auto-drafted signable notes, for a single location. Clinical adds the clinical-reasoning agents — automatic mastery evaluation, phase-change proposals, trend interpretation, progress reports, and supervision — for up to 3 locations. Practice adds the compliance surface (authorizations and units, pre-billing validation, audit packets), org-wide cross-location supervision, SSO, custom roles, API access, and audit export, with unlimited locations.
Are there limits on voice capture?
Voice is bundled, with fair-use ceilings set per active client rather than per seat: 600 minutes per active client per month on Capture and 1200 on Clinical, and unlimited fair use on Practice. Ceilings are measured at the organization level and are never enforced mid-session — capture does not stop on a clinician mid-trial.
How much does annual billing save?
Annual plans include 2 months free — roughly 17% off — billed up front on the platform fee and the per-seat charges. Per-active-client usage stays metered at the monthly rate and accrues over the year, so a quiet month is still a cheaper month.
Can I start small and upgrade later?
Yes. Every tier is a superset of the one below it, so upgrading adds capability without migrating data or losing history. Capture is self-serve with a 14-day trial and no platform fee; move up to Clinical when you want the clinical-reasoning agents, and to Practice when you need org-scale compliance and controls.
Does the Practice plan have a minimum, and why is it sales-led?
Practice bills a minimum of 15 active clients per month and is not self-serve. It is built for multi-site organizations and includes SSO, custom roles, and the compliance suite, all of which are configured with your team rather than toggled on at signup. Below roughly that size, Clinical is usually the better economic fit.
