Bookkeeper

Cadence ABA builds AI-native clinical software for ABA providers, helping clinicians capture session data by voice, track mastery trends, and auto-draft billable session notes so clinicians can stay present with clients instead of buried in paperwork. We're looking for a Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial record-keeping and support the accuracy of our books as the company grows.

What you'll do

• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a regular schedule
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and on time
• Maintain organized, audit-ready financial records and supporting documentation
• Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management review
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including collaboration with external accountants or tax preparers

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping
• Comfortable working independently and meeting recurring deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience supporting a small or early-stage company
• Familiarity with SaaS or subscription-based billing models
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
