Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Deliver direct one-to-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision - run the teaching procedures, collect trial data with fidelity, and report progress back to the supervising analyst.
Cadence ABA builds AI-native clinical software for ABA practices, capturing session data by voice and helping clinicians document, track mastery, and stay present with clients instead of buried in tablets and paperwork. We're looking for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver direct one-on-one ABA therapy to clients under the supervision of a BCBA, implementing individualized treatment plans and collecting accurate session data.
What you'll do
- Implement behavior-analytic treatment plans and teaching procedures as directed by the supervising BCBA
- Collect and record data on client behavior and skill acquisition during each session
- Run discrete trials, natural environment teaching, and other ABA procedures with consistency and fidelity
- Communicate client progress, concerns, and session notes clearly to the supervising BCBA and caregivers
- Assist with behavior reduction strategies and crisis prevention procedures as trained
- Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment for clients
What we're looking for
- Active RBT certification (or eligibility to obtain certification prior to start date)
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in psychology, education, or a related field is a plus
- Completion of a 40-hour RBT training course
- Ability to follow written behavior plans and take accurate, objective data
- Strong communication skills and comfort working closely with children and families
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain professionalism in a clinical setting
Nice to have
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities
- Experience with electronic data collection tools or ABA-specific software
- CPR/First Aid certification
